Hole number four is another midsize par three with a large green, however, unlike the first two, this plays downwind most of the time. The prevailing wind is a quartering wind from right to left. If your ball gets above the tree line, it can catch the wind and possibly ride it for extra yardage. With the tee somewhat sheltered, it’s a good idea to look at the treetops to see how strong the wind truly is. The green slopes severely from left to right with the lowest point of the green being the front right side. If the pin is on the left, shoot for the right hand side for an uphill putt. If the pin is on the right aiming for the left-hand side of the green is not bad idea because the ball will trickle towards the hole. The right side of this green is much less severe than the left. If your ball is above the hole on this green it can be impossible to stop it, so choose your shot wisely — there is a lot of golf to go.
