Number three is a nice dogleg right with the only sand traps on the course. The target off the tee with a shot of 200 to 240 yards is just left of the 150 yard marker (the white stake) on the right side of the fairway. If you want to hit it farther than that you have two options fade the tee shot or start to cut off more of the corner by going over the trees. Is the risk worth the reward? Well, I can’t answer that for you, but it is for me. The best angle into the green is from the right side of the fairway since there is a sandtrap guarding the left. The green slopes from back right to front left and it is a good idea to be short, and left of the pin so that you have an uphill putt. The green has a slight ridge near the center, which can disguise the depth of the pin position. Be careful — this green can be deceptively fast from above the hole.

  • Blue tees: 296 yards
  • White tees: 290 yards
  • Red tees: 284 yards
