MEET MARK DORCAK

Mark Dorcak At The Office.

Mark passes along information he has gained from leading sports psychologists like Dr. Richard Coop and Dr. David Cook, well-respected PGA instructors like Fred Shoemaker, David Leadbetter, Hank Haney, Chuck Cook and Paul Runyan, and PGA players like Bruce Summerhays.

Mark’s Perspective…

On the golf lesson:

“One of the driving forces which guide my teaching is the desire to understand my students’ dreams of golf. I would rather figure out how to make those dreams happen, than discourage you from pursuing your goals. I am always willing to explore possibilities, not only for my students, but also for myself. I learn a great deal from my students and we have lots of fun exploring possibilities.”

On the golf school:

“Our primary goal is to develop our skills further and become even better teachers, instructors, trainers, and coaches. We aim to create an environment where learning is fun, challenging and rewarding for our students.

“It would be nice to keep in close contact with our students, and somehow know each and every one of them for the rest of their golf careers. Whether our communication is in person, through the Internet or video clips, we’d like to watch our students grow and progress. Wherever the technology takes us, we plan to stay on the leading edge at all times and continue educating ourselves, along with our students.”

On using video and live ball flight:

"I think it is one of the most effective ways to help people when they can actually see why their ball flies the way it does. You will get instant feedback on your own swing. The cause and effect can be quite simple when you are involved and can see how and why."
